r1, don't know if it's his boyfriend, but that is Sean Depner who was in shows like Riverdale, Deadly Class, and The Order. The picture you linked is supposed to be them dressed up for Halloween as Oliver and Elo from Call Me By Your Name.

unless he came out recently he is most likely str8 - he dated canadian actress up until recently Kacey Rohl. The guy he is with above is a friend - that pic was them going as elio and oliver for halloween. When asked about it he said this to pride.com

Hey R8, it never even dawned on me that he could be straight.

I guess because his Instagram photos are ambiguous, as is his relationship status.

Now I'm not so sure any more, because nothing on his Instagram proves that he is in fact, gay.

I always assumed he was straight because I first became aware of him on the show Magicians and the PR/promotion of that and his character never once suggested he was even a tiny bit non-het - in contrast to openly gay Hale Appleton who played Elliot which was touted as part of the initial PR blitz for the first season (I liked the Elliot character and was pissed when they basically made him Bi with awkward hints at sex with women at some point from the second season to the end). Point being that if he were openly gay as the OP claimed, the network would have milked that to high heaven...

And that awkward pride quote where he sounded like a well-meaning but not too bright straight guy said it all. Who knows though - he is still young(ish).

r16 Look - It's Cousin Greg from Succession playing the straight wingman. Even though Date and Switch was a low budget B-C list film, I found it warmly endearing. DiMarco went the cheap and easy route and played to a caricature of a stereotype but he has obviously grown in his craft (or had a better script/director) because Todd in Magicians was a much better gay character (and they didn't make him fuck women like they did Elliot). I lusted after Todd -he was the perfect combination of very cute but not too intimidatingly hot face with a twunky build. YUM!
