Danny Jones announces one night only show
There’s big news from Danny Jones after his Instagram blacked out. For the past week Danny has been teasing fans with pictures and short clips of him performing new music on his guitar.
Danny is 1/4 of McFly, who are currently on hiatus whilst the members pursue individual projects. The band have sold more than 10 million records, toured the world several times and had seven UK No.1’s.
The McFly star has been working with some impressive talent on his new record, teaming up with Ash Howes, who has produced tracks for One Direction and James Arthur. He’s also been in the studio with Jake Gosling, who was one of the masterminds behind Ed Sheeran’s monster hit Thinking Out Loud, plus Mike Needle & Dan Bryer (Niall Horan) and Emily Philips (John Newman)
After fans patiently waited, Danny Jones finally revealed that he is releasing solo music this summer.
Danny said: “I’ve been working on new songs for quite some time now and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them. The fans have been so supportive across the world and I’m excited for them all to join me on the next part of my journey. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing again as I’ve really missed it.”
Today Danny announced his first solo show at London’s O2 Islington on the 25th of June. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
In addition, Danny returns this summer to ITV prime time for a second series of The Voice Kids, as a coach alongside Will.I.Am and Pixie Lott.
