Scouting For Girls Release Feel Good Video For New Single 'Grown Up'

Publish date: 2024-06-29

Scouting For Girls have unveiled the music video for their latest single Grown Up, which sees them busking on the streets of Camden and reminding viewers that even when you’re grown up you’re never too old to have fun.

Grown Up is taken from their upcoming fifth studio album The Trouble With Boys and is a reminiscent affair, looking back on memories shared with friends and loved ones seeing the changes which have happened in the years gone by and wishing everything remained simple. Scouting For Girls have always been known for their catchy, sing-along choruses and Grown Up is no different as you’ll find yourself subconsciously singing along to ‘I don’t wanna be a grown-up, a grown up, look at me, my skin is older‘ whilst having a little dance in your seat. The video for the track sees Stefan Mihalache dressed as an old man trying to relive his youth by causing chaos on the streets on London, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone around him. We love the surprise when he pulls out some break dancing moves as the trio busk on the streets of Camden much to the surprise of onlookers. We have a feeling this video might just inspire some viewers to head out and cause some harmless mischief this summer.

In the twelve years which have past since the release of the band’s self-titled debut album release, the trio’s trademark sound has stuck with them throughout. Grown Up is the first taste of the band’s upcoming album The Trouble With Boys which is set for release on 20th September via Sony Music. You can pre-order the album from here.
